The coat is given its classic trench style by the double-breasted front, wide lapel collar and epaulets on the shoulders.  For luxury and added femininity, the pretty buttons are diamante, whilst pleated panels hide underneath the vents (two down the front with another under the half-waist belt at the back).

The nautical look is very fashionable at the moment for everyday wear, but for christenings and naming ceremonies it is always a key look.  Whilst we usually show traditional white sailor suits and shirts for christenings, not everybody chooses the conventional look, especially for naming ceremonies.  Keeping to the sailor theme, shirts like the one above are becoming extremely popular.  Perhaps more so, because the shirt can be worn many times as it doesn’t look like it needs to be reserved just for the ceremony.
