In my favourite grey tones, they are anything but dull and boring as grey can sometimes be considered.  Instead, these pieces have unique styling like the wavy edgings on the wool mix cardigan, the scrunched shape of the grey dress with the help of the elasticated hem, and the puff sleeves on the 100% cotton grey knitted top.  The flattering styles and shapes will set your daughter apart from the crowd, yet they are so ‘wearable’ and work well with staple wardrobe pieces that they are in no way over-dressy and fussy.  Just great, versatile items that we’re sure you will love.

Whilst most of us have thoughts of school holidays looming and time spent having summer fun, the more organised amongst us will already be thinking and planning the next season’s clothing for ourselves and our children.  I’m pleased to say therefore, that the Autumn/Winter collections have now started to filter through.

Take this gorgeous navy blue taffeta jacket from Jottum for example.  Nicely fitted, the jacket is extremely smart and would look great over a dress or separates at a wedding.  Equally it suits a more casual look with classic white jeans and a nautical-inspired top, making this jacket very versatile.  For extra value, this jacket is machine washable at a low temperature.

This pretty cotton skirt from Joules  is available in two completely different designs.  My favourite is this beach design, which has a glorious scene of children and dogs walking on the beach, flying kites and taking a picnic to enjoy a pleasant day by the sea.  The other design is ditsy, which has pink paisley inspired patterns all over.

Both skirts are softly pleated from the waistband to create a fuller effect, and have a white frilled cotton hem peeking out below the skirt, giving a gypsy-inspired look.

The skirts are available in various sizes from 3 to 12 years, although stocks are running low on a couple of sizes.  Perfect for the summer, these skirts are easy to wear and go well with other co-ordinated items from Joules.

These must be the most luxurious pyjamas I have seen for baby boys, and the hefty price tag certainly reflects this!  However, if it is luxury you want then you will certainly get it with this exquisite silk pyjama all-in-one from Dolce & Gabbana.

Beautifully cool and gentle on the skin, this item will be comfortable in the summer months for any baby boy, but those with dry skin conditions like eczema may find them even more pleasing.

Known for their bright and cheery summer clothes that are inexpensive and therefore perfect for the holidays, these summer tops from Boden are so easy to wear and look great with jeans, capri pants and shorts.  A great casual look that is a bit more pleasing to the eye than a plain t-shirt.

We brought you some of these items last summer, but thought it appropriate to promote them again.  With personal experience of the dangers of too much exposure to the sun in those early childhood days, we at Kids-Posh-Togs can’t urge you enough to ensure that the delicate skin on your child is protected sufficiently.  That is why we love these all-in-one suits and separates.  Made to give protection of 50+ SPF, these items don’t cost the earth but are priceless if they can save children from the trauma of skin cancer in later life.  (Of course any exposed skin outside these items needs to be adequately coated in high factor suncream).  The added bonus is that these items also keep you warm, which is particularly helpful when used on our British beaches!

Unfortunately, until new stocks arrive, many of these products are selling out and only one or two sizes remain in some cases.  However it is worth having a look to see if the apprpriate size is available for your child.
