There is something special about this red wool dress from I Pinco Pallino that makes me know that it is going to be a great hit.  I just love the vibrancy of bright red clothing for little girls – maybe a throwback from my own childhood when my mother always dressed me in either bright red or navy blue.  Looking back at photos I still love some of the clothes I wore and to me they looked sharp and extremely smart and eye-catching, especially when I had shiny red shoes to match.

This everyday knitted dress is just the job for the chilly late Autumn and Winter days.  Affordable enough so it doesn’t have to be saved for special occasions, your daughter will be able to wear it throughout the season.  The empire style has a gently gathered skirt attached to the plain bodice of this dress, with a simple round neck that has a keyhole fastening at the back.

The two little girls are wearing the angora mix knitted dress with a glorious lace pleated skirt, which had a tulle underskirt to give fullness and shape.  The long sleeves are edged in a fancy trim that matches the outline of the round neck, which has a keyhole fastening at the back.  A lovely striped ribbon ’belt’ with two bows is attached to the dress just above the join between the skirt and the top.  A really lovely dress that can be worn for day wear, but also dressed up for more formal occasions.  Believe it or not, but you can even machine wash this dress at low temperatures.

The other dress is similar in that it too has a angora mix knitted top with a contrasting bottom half.  However, this dress has short sleeves and a roll neck and the lace skirt is very different to the other one.  A knitted belt ties at the back of the dress.  Again, this one can be machine washed.

The wedding season is now well underway, but with this changeable weather we are experiencing, you may wonder whether your little bridesmaids or flowergirls are going to be warm enough on the day.  This cute little diamante shrug will match any dress and just give that extra warmth across her shoulders and back.

Like many parents of school-age children I have been out this morning spending a small fortune on school uniform ready for the new academic year.  If like our school, your school has a specific uniform that can only be purchased from the school, it can turn out to be very expensive especially if you have more than one child to buy for.

Even the best made plans can be broken sometimes and that certainly happened to me over the last two weeks!  Whilst looking forward to a two week relaxing holiday in Cornwall, I packed my laptop so that for the odd hour or two each day I could keep up-to-date with the website and keep bringing you the fabulous clothing you seek for your children.  However, I discovered that my planning hadn’t been that good after all – I’d only booked a part of Cornwall that has absolutely no network coverage at all!  So apologies to those visitors to the site who have been expecting regular updates and have been disappointed.  I’ll do my research better next year – I’m thinking of Wales, so if anybody knows the areas to avoid for lack of broadband, please let me know.
