The black and white combination is set to continue into next season, and this gorgeous dress from Dior is a fabulous example.  Made from cotton baptiste, the sumptuous feel of the fabric just adds to the luxury of this sleeveless sundress, as does the four layers that make up the underskirt.

A beautiful Scottish wool pinafore dress in this blue and grey check tartan, will look lovely with a crisp white blouse underneath and thick cosy tights. 

The boxy style of this pinafore gives it a different edge.  It is fully lined and has a nice boat-shaped neck and round armhole edges.  Four gold and enamel buttons add decoration to the small bodice.

This pinafore dress is available in sizes 3, 6 and 9 months only.

With a fresh nautical theme, this lovely pure cotton jumper with the embossed-feel boat cleverly incorporated into the design by using stocking stitch, can be purchased separately but looks so good with these trousers that buying the complete outfit is favourable.

As well as the boat, the jumper has neat pocket on one sleeve, and the opening of the jumper has also been cleverly incorporated into on of the raglan edges at the back, so easy putting on and taking off without discomfort to baby.

The trousers are made from a 50/50 blend of cotton and linen so are incredibly soft and comfortable and are designed to look like rolled-up cargo trousers in denim.

Cosy and cute, these super soft merino wool items are brand new and form part of the just released Spring 2010 collection for babies and toddlers from The Little White Company.  The three items (merino wool cardigan with a pretty frilled collar, the merino dress with cap sleeves, and the tiny suede shoes can be purchased separately, but don’t they look lovely matched together?

The dress and cardigan are both machine washable and are available from newborn size to 12-18 months.

Just because you are a small baby and can’t walk yet, it doesn’t mean that you can’t wear nice smart shiny shoes.  These cute little buckle shoes in black patent are perfect for special occasions.

The shoes shown here are black, but white and ivory colours are also available which are ideal for christenings and naming ceremonies.  Because they are so inexpensive, the shoes don’t have to be reserved just for the one occasion though, and they would look great with everyday clothing after the event too.
