Made from beautiful luxurious pink silk, this gingham dress is the perfect Sunday best dress.  The dress has short sleeves and a small collar on the plain bodice to which a pleated skirt is attached.  For extra decoration, a floral brooch has been attached to the slightly hitched up skirt revealing the white tulle underskirting.  If preferred, the brooch can be removed and worn on the bodice.

Pretty 1950′s style cotton dresses for girls are a great addition to any girl’s summer wardrobe.  With a simple round neck and sleeveless bodice attached to a full swirly skirt that is enhanced by a detachable net underskirt for fullness, the cut of the dress is feminine and flattering.  As usual with Boden, the basic shape of the dress is available in a few fabric designs: the one we have chosen to display in a lovely  aqua coloured vintage rose, but you can also select blue stripe, red circles or green poppies.

Two versions of this lovely camisole top that is just our for the 2010 Spring / Summer season from Jottum.  Perfectly pretty, these tops will look lovely on a fine summer day over trousers, jeans, leggings and capri pants.  Made from 100% cotton, these tops are floaty and cool, with a button back fastening, the decorative front button panel incorporates a white ruffle frill which is seen on many other Jottum items this season.  The darker stripe is in fact a zigzag stitch giving the illusion of a stripe.

These must be some of the cutest flip-flops we’ve seen.  Featuring the Miss Marc sailor girl on the base of the flip-flop and pink straps.  The same version of Miss Marc also appears on a deep sunhat which is also available.

The flip-flops are available in sizes 23/24 to 35/36 but are selling very fast!

Most of the bridesmaid and flowergirl dresses we’ve brought to you have had either a white or cream base, with perhaps a hint of another colour.  Just to contrast that today we have brought you a very vivid ruby red dress!   It is quite a number of years (or decades) when the ‘in’ colour for bridesmaid’s dresses was baby pink, peach or pale blue or green.  Against the backdrop of a white or ivory wedding dress, strong vibrant colours can look simply stunning.  This ruby red dress is one such example.

With a satin bodice and tiered layers of organza with rosebuds attached to the waist, this dress is available in a variety of sizes from 2-12 years.

As the Spring / Summer wedding season approaches, many of you will be searching (as some are already) for the perfect suit for your son to wear to the event.  This grey striped suit is made from 100% wool and is impeccibly styled and produced.  Looking just like Dad’s, the single-breasted jacket is very smart and therefore perfect for even the most formal of occasions.  However, the jacket also looks good worn separately with jeans.

For everyday wear that isn’t too fancy yet not too plain, this set from the Little White Company is a good choice.  Although the set is meets the Little White Company high standards, it isn’t expensive so it doesn’t have to be saved for special days.  There are four pieces in the set.

The items can be mixed and matched to create a few different outfits:  the white bodysuit with the pink ticking stripe dress, or the pink bodysuit and dress.  Alternatively when the weather gets warmer, discard the bodysuits and team the sleeveless dress with the knickers.  Each combination looks good.

It is still cold outside but the snow has gone, so those of us optimistic enough to be thinking forward to long hot summer nights, the release of the 2010 Spring / Summer Collections including swimwear is a good thing.  Whilst stocks are at their highest, it is good to be able to choose exactly what we want to buy for the forthcoming season before we struggle to get stock.

This bright two-piece swimming suit for girls is 1950s inspired – the aptly named Polka Dot bikini!  Available in red, blue or pink the halter neck top matches the bikini bottoms which have a deep frill attached to create a skirt-like appearance. 

The bikini is available in sizes 18 months to 14 years, and is machine washable.

With older brothers and sisters already wearing the signature Joules clothing, baby can now join in too.  This romper suit is quite unmistakably Joules with its reference to a rugby shirt and number 3 appliqued on the sleeves with the diagonal stripes across the body.

Keeping the delicacy and softness of baby’s skin in mind, this romper suit is very soft and comfortable to wear.  The fully opening buttons down the centre chest enable the item to be pulled easily over baby’s head, and a popper fastening between the legs enables easy nappy changing without having to take the whole item off.
