Kids Posh Togs

Regular visitors to Kids-Posh-Togs will know that we love children’s clothes that have a classic, traditional style and quality.  We also like to bring you clothes that at first glimpse have a traditional style, but on closer inspection have a little modern twist.

This lovely tartan kilt from Alberta Ferretti is one such item.  On the first view, you will perhaps notice the navy blue and bottle green tartan fabric with pleats and leather buckle strap fastenings.  Look closer though, and see the scalloped edge, diamante beads, and the tulle underskirt that discretely peeps out from underneath the kilt, which all bring this kilt bang up to date.

This skirt is available in three sizes to fit ages 8-11 years.

Babies deserve only the best and most luxurious fabrics near their delicate skin, so this lovely cashmere cardigan is the perfect choice for keeping baby warm and comfortable this winter.  In muted natural colours which looks great in the Fair Isle pattern, the cardigan has a simple round neck, long sleeves and a button fastening.

This cardigan is available in sizes five baby sizes:  newborn, 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months and 9-12 months.

Dolce & Gabbana are great at designing lovely daywear for children that is just a bit special.  This white smock top is gloriously soft and gentle on the skin, helped by the addition of 11% angora blended into the mix of the fabric.  Somehow, this softness is even more important when the weather gets colder.

A beautifully pleated panel is joined to the yoke of the top, which creates a lovely drape and smock shape, making the top very wearable with jeans, trousers or skirts and boots.  This top can be dressed up or down, depending on how you match it.

The round neck and cuffs are edged in black ribbon piping, with the black and white appliqued rose bringing the whole look together.

This top is machine washable at a low temperature and is available in sizes between 4 and 10 years.

In a scrumptious mix of bon-bon colours, this cashmere dress from EyeSpy Baby is such a treat on the eye as well as the skin.

A lovely wintry skirt made from wool, viscose and poly blend fabrics in a mixture of designs.  Nothing is ever plain and simple from Jottum!

This lovely ivory coloured dress has just the hint of Burberry tartan in grey, on the skirt, belt and epaulettes.  The dress is also available in the more well-known beige tartan, put personally I prefer this grey version.

The drop waist of the dress looks particularly good on smaller girls, and teamed with thick opaque tights and boots, or classic patent pumps, this dress makes a marvellous addition to any girl’s Autumn/Winter wardrobe.  It is nice for daytime wear, but can also be worn more formally.

Cashmere is well known as a luxury fibre - too good to keep just for yourself.  This gorgeous little dress from EyeSpy Baby is devine to the touch and looks pretty special too.

Made from 100% cashmere, the dress has a plain round neck with an enveloped closure on one shoulder for ease of dressing, and long sleeves which, together with the yoke are in an ice blue colour.  The skirt is in pretty coral with a lilac foxglove knit into the design.

A while ago at Kids-Posh-Togs we featured a collection of lovely knitted dresses.  We’ve just come across this one and wanted to add it to our site.

Made from pure cashmere this dress not only looks good, it feels like a dream.  The soft texture is really comfy to wear and when added to thick opaque tights and boots, it will keep your little girl warm and snug.
