The traditional English Victorian style sailor suit is always a popular choice for a baby’s christening outfit.  This suit from Little Darlings, is made from pale blue 100% silk that has been edged in an ivory coloured ribbon piping.

Comprising of a short-sleeve shirt with matching dungarees which can be worn under the shirt (as is in the image) to form a shirt and trouser set, or worn above the shirt for a different look more suitable perhaps for younger children.  A matching hat accompanies the set for a complete outfit.

The suit is also suitable for weddings or other special occasions.

The image below shows you a glimpse of the new clothing featured for New York fashion week, but it represents just a snapshot of the luxury brands and designs available in Spring / Summer 2011 for your child.

Whilst there are plenty of decent suits around for boys that are suitable for weddings and other special occasions, it is harder to find the traditional morning suit.  Therefore this suit is a great find.  Not only does it consist of 4 pieces making it a complete outfit, but it is an affordable price too and comes in sizes from 1 year through to 16.

As with conventional morning suits, the jacket is in plain dark grey whilst the trousers are in a black and grey pinstripe.  Also included in this set is an ivory coloured waistcoat with a subtle silver leaf pattern and a matching cravat.  As mentioned above, this set is available in a wide range of sizes so all the boys in your wedding party can be decked out in style.

We’ve had a few bridesmaid dresses on Kids Posh Togs lately, so now it’s time for the pageboys.

This complete set for boys comprises of a pair of pinstriped trousers with a white wing collared shirt and a fancy embroidered waistcoat with matching cravat.  All items are machine washable at a low temperature.

Shown here in merlot, the waistcoat and cravat are also available in a number of other colours to compliment the bride’s choice of colour.

A similar waistcoat and cravat set is also available for men too, so the whole male wedding party can be matching.

The boy’s set can be purchased in a number of sizes from 6-9 months through to 16 years.

This lovely white bridesmaid dress has contrasting pale blue features that would be suitable if your wedding is going to have a blue theme.  The same style dress can also be purchased in red, pink, fuchsia, champagne or green depending on your colour scheme.

The pretty sleeveless dress has a simple neckline, fitted bodice that is fastened with pearlised buttons down the back, and a gathered skirt that falls to calf length.  Along the hem of the dress you can find lots of loose petals with a mixture of blue hues that compliment the deep sash waist that ties into a magnificent bow at the back of the waist.  Decorating the sash is a fabric flower corsage on the front, and a large corsage on the back.

The Lela butterfly bridesmaid dress is a lovely dress that covers the whole age range from tiny babies aged between 6 and 9 months, to early teens and this version in purple is an online exclusive.

Made from 100% polyester, the dress comprises a white top with thin spaghetti straps, a purple underskirt that shows through the transparent overskirt, and a deep purple sash that brings the top portion of the dress and the skirt together.  Pretty embroidered butterflies decorate the bodice and sash.
