A cute pair of baby shoes finishes off an outfit. For pre-walking babies the shoes need to be soft with plenty of room so as not to squash those delicate baby toes. There is no need for supportive ankles and soles as your baby won’t be walking for any length of time when she’s wearing these shoes, they are for decoration only. Great for keeping those little feet a bit warmer during the colder season too.
These little shoes are made from soft pink suede with a pretty bow on one side and a contrasting leather close and press strap for easy fastening.
Available in 4 sizes to fit between 0 – 24 months.

The version here is the Social Butterfly, which has a white background and masses of multi-coloured butterflies flying around. Another rainy day greeted me as I woke this morning! Yet before school broke up for the summer, the sun was shining so much I felt sure we were in for a long hot summer.
Little raincoats like this one from Cath Kidston are a fantastic way to keep your little ones dry when out for the day and the rain suddenly comes from nowhere. Lightweight, they fold up into a little storage pouch so are ideal for packing in your bag – ready to bring out if the weather turns inclement, without the need to drag around heavy coats all the time.

At first sight this little dress looks like a straightforward back and white check dress. Ok, from this tiny image you cant tell that it is made from gorgeous silk that hangs beautifully and is soft to the touch. The best surprise though, on closer inspection is to discover the white ‘check design’ is formed by rows of ‘Marc Jacobs’ inscriptions running throughout the fabric.
Available in sizes from 2 – 8 years, this dress has a tiny bodice which is attached to the flared and pleated skirt and has short sleeves. The dress is fastened at the back with a zip.

James Alexander Philip Theo or to give him his correct title, Viscount Severn, the son of Prince Edward and the Countess of Wessex was christened today in a private chapel at Windsor Castle. In attendance were the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh.
James wore a replica of the satin and lace royal christening gown, which was made in 1841 and has been used for every royal christening since.
Not all of us are lucky enough to have such esteemed connections with a gown already available to us, or even to have an heirloom gown that has been passed down through our families. If not, why not start a tradition with your little one, by purchasing one of the beautiful gowns pictured on this site.
