Sometimes you see an article of children’s clothing and just wish it was available in adult sizes too.  This gorgeous yellow 100% cotton brocade coat from Marie Chantal is one such item!

With fashionable slightly flared sleeves with piping detail, the coat has many design features that will make it highly desirable and perfect for cool Spring days.  A smart collar sits above the tiny double-breasted button panel that fastens the coat.

Luckily for girls, the coat is available in many sizes to fit from age 2 to 12.

When we saw these gorgeous items from Rachel Riley we knew they must appear on Kids Posh Togs as soon as possible.  They each feature a cute little hand-smocked sailboat design but are all slightly different and fit different age groups.

The all-in-one outfit has one little sailboat in the centre of the smocking panel on the chest, with white piping down the edges and around the collar.  This piece also features epaulets on the short sleeves, and is available in 3 sizes to fit 3 to 12 months.

Made from the same machine washable 100% cotton blue and ivory striped fabric as the all-in-one, the toddler girl dress features a panel of 3 sailboats – both on the front and back of the dress.  With double straps on the shoulder this dress is available to fit between 6 months and 2 years, and has a pair of matching knickers.

Finally, the older girls dress to fit ages between 3 and 8 years, is similar to the toddler dress but has a double panel of smocking and 6 sailboats.

A truly lovely set of clothing for young children that has a vintage, traditional look.

Tomorrow is officially the first day of Spring, so we thought it was time we celebrated with some great Spring / Summer outfit ideas for your child.  Popular for their fashionable everyday wear, Boden have produced some wonderful separates with splashes of vibrant colour this year.  The two outfits above are very relaxed and very wearable. 

We especially note the lace-less plimsolls that continue to be highly fashionable with the boys at the moment – at first I thought my son was just being lazy by not tying his laces before I noticed how many others were doing the same!

This cute little dress is the baby version of the Marie Chantal dress for ages 2 – 12 years.  Here the dress is accompanied by a pair of frilled bloomers which are great for disguising unsightly nappies.

The dress is in a soft brown colour with a button fastening front, sharp collar and tiny cap sleeves.  Joining the bodice to the gathered skirt is a panel of delicate pin tucking which gives a lovely band of definition to the outfit.

A lovely summer dress that will keep baby cool on a hot, sunny day.

This striking jacket in silver from Chloe is made from a mix of cotton and polyester that can be machine washed, enabling the jacket to be worn frequently and not just reserved for special occasions.  It has a checked look on closer inspection and the classic ’swing’ shape is not only very feminine and flattering, but suitable to wear with a pretty floaty dress for more formal occasions, and dressed down with jeans for casual days.

Silver looks great with white, so we can see this jacket going well with sharp white jeans this summer and pretty silver sandals.  Alternatively, there is also a matching skirt available so you may prefer for your daughter to wear it as a suit at a Summer wedding.
