With the sub-zero temperatures continuing around Britain for the foreseeable future, even if you’re not planning on a ski-ing trip this winter your children will benefit from these ski gloves. These gloves give great protection against the wind and snow and have a soft insulated lining for comfort. The breathable fabric means that hands won’t get clammy. With an elasticated wrist the glove not only fits snuggly but will prevent snow reaching down into the glove and causing hands to become cold and wet as does the extended length of the glove.
These gloves are available in 3 sizes to fit the age range of 6-11 years.

Less experienced skiers and children especially often prefer an all-in-one skisuit to having separates. This pirate one piece for girls in light grey has a detachable hood for removal when not required (the fur is also detachable), and for optimal comfort, the suit is windproof and waterproof whilst at the same time it is breathable. There is nothing worse than having a wind/waterproof jacket that isn’t breathable – when you heat up the warmth has nowhere to go and you get hotter and sweatier – not much fun. When you want the children to enjoy their ski-ing holiday too, ensuring they are comfortable and have less opportunity to moan is vital.
The suit has reflective print and piping, so you can spot your child easily and thus reducing the worry of them getting lost.

We love this bright and cheerful checked ski jacket from Boden. You’d easily be able to see your daughter on the slopes in this jacket. Thick and warm, this jacket will keep your daughter cosy and dry and has been specially coated in Teflon to deflect the harsh elements experienced when ski-ing. Not just to be worn on the slopes though, this jacket also serves as a general warm winter coat and can be used at home too.
The jacket has a handy ski pass pocket situated on the chest, and has a decorative fur trim which is removable.
Checks not your thing? An alternative version of this ski jacket is available, which consists of large multi-coloured spots. Even brighter than the check version!

Perfect for ski-ing and also playing outside in the snow (or rain for that matter), these brightly coloured red dungarees / salopettes have been made using the latest technology from Scandinavia to maximise comfort for your child. The material used to make them is 100% waterproof and extremely tough and durable although they are supple and soft so nice to wear. The thought of having small children that won’t be complaining of being cold or wet whilst on your ski-ing holiday will bring joy to most people!
The legs have elasticated cuffs to reduce the amount of wind, rain or snow that can slip up the legs and stirrup straps help to keep them in place. Plenty of growing room has been built into the item, with the help of adjustable side poppers.
Available for age ranges between 1 and 5 years.

What an ingenious little item these snowsuits are! No more cold baby in the buggy after kicking off the covers, but a lovely cosy and warm baby. Perfect for the cold weather when transporting baby outside with the minimum of fuss and enabling baby to benefit from the fresh air without the risk of a chill and discomfort. No wonder then that so many parents insist on buying a snowsuit for their baby.
The four designs above are all different and from some of your favourite labels: Dior, Burberry, Armani and Timberland, but they are just a small sample of what is on offer.

This hard-wearing ski jacket from the Columbia Sportswear Company looks good and will keep your son warm and dry. The insulated inner helps keep out the wind as well as retaining warmth, yet it is waterproof and breathable so the warmth retention doesn’t result in sweating and discomfort. Velcro straps can be found at the cuff of the sleeves to tighten if required for creating a barrier from the wind and snow. The zip-off storm hood is useful when ski-ing in windy and snowy conditions, but can be removed on warmer, sunny days.
There are plenty of pockets on this jacket which are handy for mobile phones and money when out on the slopes, and they have zips to maximize security of personal possessions.
This jacket can be matched with ski pants in the Colombia range, and can be worn separately as a winter coat when not ski-ing.
Currently this jacket retails for a 19% reduction on RRP.

It’s almost back to school time, which means darker nights and colder and wetter weather. However, for those lucky people amongst us, to shake off the doom and gloom that the coming season brings us, we have our winter holidays to look forward to. Even if you are not planning on taking a family ski-ing trip this year, many children will be coming home from school with details about school ski-ing trips, so you may still need to purchase good quality weather-proof ski-wear for them.
This two part set from Five Seasons has the benefit of being waterproof, windproof and fully breathable, ensuring your child is as comfortable as possible in the extremities of the weather that may be experienced. From freezing cold and almost blizzard conditions one day to warm sunshine the next, you can never be too certain of what to expect.
Available in sizes to fit ages 5-6 to 15-16, this set is available with a red jacket as shown or a dove grey version.
