This lovely tartan kilt from Alberta Ferretti is one such item.  On the first view, you will perhaps notice the navy blue and bottle green tartan fabric with pleats and leather buckle strap fastenings.  Look closer though, and see the scalloped edge, diamante beads, and the tulle underskirt that discretely peeps out from underneath the kilt, which all bring this kilt bang up to date.

  Darcy Brown have achieved another winner with this pretty floral pinafore dress.  Their unmistakeable style is evident in the delicate floral print and velvet bow feature that is attached to the bodice of the dress.  The contrasting bow is perfectly matched with the deep fuschia underskirting that peeps out from the bottom of the dress.

The simple round neck and sleeveless design of the A-line dress ensures that it is pretty without being overly fussy.

Dolce & Gabbana are great at designing lovely daywear for children that is just a bit special.  This white smock top is gloriously soft and gentle on the skin, helped by the addition of 11% angora blended into the mix of the fabric.  Somehow, this softness is even more important when the weather gets colder.

A beautifully pleated panel is joined to the yoke of the top, which creates a lovely drape and smock shape, making the top very wearable with jeans, trousers or skirts and boots.  This top can be dressed up or down, depending on how you match it.

The round neck and cuffs are edged in black ribbon piping, with the black and white appliqued rose bringing the whole look together.

The pantaloon style ‘trousers’ have plenty of room for a nappy and with poppers along the inside legs, changing is easy.  The short sleeves have turn-ups which match the bottom of the legs.  Three fabric covered mock buttons adorn the narrow feature panel down the front of the ’shirt’, which has a pointed collar.

The matching hat has a little peak, and is fastened by ties under the chin.

This beautiful little white party dress from Tulip and Nettle, is a treasure from nostalgia.  The kind of party dress which used to be worn so frequently by almost all little girls, but sadly only a small number get to enjoy.

Made from a soft and delicate 100% cotton point d’esprit voile fabric, which requires close-up inspection to see its true beauty, and finished with a dusky pink crushed velvet trim across the join between the small bodice and the skirt.  The same crushed velvet trim is used as a tie fastening at the neck on the back of the dress.

We’ve had a few raincoats and wellies from Hatley Nature on Kids Posh Togs, and are now delighted to bring you the beautiful ski-wear separates in the Prancing Horses design.

The salopettes have adjustable straps at the shoulders, and fasten with a zip down the front.  The short ankle zip enables a comfy fit over ski boots.

The jacket is filled with duck down feathers for a softness and warmth, has a waterproof outer layer to keep you child dry in the snow and rain, and has a soft fleece interior lining.  The fur-trimmed hood is detachable.
