Room Seven
Room Seven is a Dutch label created by Brechtje Olsthoorn, the daughter of the creators of another Dutch label, Oilily. Surrounded by fabrics and the creativity of her parents, it is perhaps unsurprising that Brechtje developed a keen eye for design and the ability to create beautiful clothing.
Initially designing bedding and quilts, it was only after having her first child, that Brechtje decided to create a children’s clothing range, using the patchwork themes she had used for her bedding. This was only 5 years ago, and the Room Seven brand has gone from strength to strength, now selling in 30 countries around the world in diverse locations such as the UK, USA, Australia and a vast number of European countries.
The new 2008 collection is reminiscent of summer days out by the seaside, capturing the colours and senses that are part of our childhood memories.
