Kids Posh Togs

We know you love the Christian Dior christening gowns that are featured from time to time on Kids Posh Togs.  We also know that they sell out quite quickly, so we’re always excited when we are able to bring you a new version.  There is no exception with this beautiful silk off-white robe that is suitable for boys and girls.

This stunning gown is made from 100% fine silk, with a cotton lining.  The simple round neck is made elaborate with a satin trim edging, adorned with little beads.  Sheer long sleeves have a lovely lace trim at the cuffs, which is similar to that which borders the matching bonnet.  The gown has a long tie that hangs down the back from the waist, and has a button fastening.  A protective cover is issued with the gown and bonnet as part of the set.

Many christening gowns are unisex, with a smaller number being designed specifically for girls or boys.  A couple of days ago, we brought you a boy’s gown so today it is the girl’s turn.

Without being too frilly and fluffy, this gown from Little Darlings captures some very feminine details.  Made from ivory 100% silk with a fully lined skirt with added netting for volume, this gown has restricted the lace detail to the bodice and small flower edging around the sleeve hem and scalloped skirt edges.  The back of the gown tapers out to a stunning fishtail effect, and this theme is continued on the short puffed sleeves, giving a very pretty look.  The back has a fabric covered button fastening and a bow sash.

A matching lace trimmed bonnet completes the look.

This beautifully simple yet elegant christening gown for girl’s in ivory silk comes with a matching bonnet (not shown in the picture).

The gown has a plain bodice with a simple round neck and short puffed sleeves.  The fully lined long skirt is attached to the bodice with three bows covering the join, and silk buttons fasten the gown down the back.
