What a poor year this has been weather-wise!  First, the long drawn out harsh winter where snow and ice seemed to last far too long, and now a rather dismal summer with little in the way of sunshine.  Yet here we are, heading to Autumn already.  On the plus side of course is all the gorgeous clothing that is now available for the forthcoming season.

This beautiful teal coloured coat is just one item from the fabulous new collection from I Love Gorgeous.  The coat has a thick wool exterior that looks good but is also warm and practical too – perfect for winter.  Lined with a contrasting hot pink quilted lining and finished with a cute honey-coloured shaggy fur collar.

This beautiful camel coat from I Pinco Pallino is a true classic.  Made from a blend of virgin and mohair wool, the coat features a wrap-over front and long skinny tie belt.  For a different look simply remove the rabbit fur collar, but our guess is your daughter will love to wear the coat with the collar attached.

A classic design that never goes out of fashion, this double-breasted wool coat is so smart and suitable for any occasion.

The combination of a deep wool coat and velvet collar and trims is also a timeless classic.  We love the semi-fitted shape of this coat with darts down to the waist on the front of the coat, with more down the back including the deep pleat down the centre, which gives the coat its feminine look.  As well as the collar and pocket trims, the half-waister belt at the back of the coat is also in velvet.

Waking up to the frost this morning was a bit of a shock.  Ok, I am aware that it is November, but it has been so mild recently (albeit a bit wet), I just wasn’t prepared for such a cold start to the morning.  It follows then, that the sales of winter coats and thicker clothing has really taken off now at the expense of t-shirts and dresses.

This lovely grey wool and poly mix coat with a hint of luxurious cashmere in it from Chloé, is very smart and would enhance any outfit.  Whether to pop on top of party dresses, or special days out, this coat has many lovely features including the signature Chloé scalloped edging.

This beautiful skating coat conjures up an image of a Victorian winter scene with children skating on large frozen lakes.  It seems natural to call it a skating coat!
