Ralph Lauren Traditional Tartan Skirt |
Tartan is one of the big hits this year in ladies fashion, and is now filtering through to childrenswear. Modern yet very traditional, tartan skirts and kilts have a timeless quality about them and always look smart.
This bottle green and navy tartan kilt from Ralph Lauren is just like the ones I used to wear (except mine had a huge metal safety pin to keep the front flap attached to the rest of the skirt).
Made from 100% wool and pleated for about 3/4 of the way round the kilt, leaving only the front panel flat with a traditional frayed edge. The wrap over style of the kilt is held together at the waist with two patent buckles.
